Langaville Primary School learners excel in maths and IsiZulu competitions
Grade Five learners advance to the final of a national maths competition while a Grade Seven learner earns top honours in an IsiZulu competition.
There is much to celebrate at Langaville Primary School as learners continue to excel in various competitions and earn accolades.
A group of Grade Five learners from the school recently participated in the third annual Gibela-WeSolve4x Maths Competition at Nigel Primary School, where their performance earned them a spot in the final, which will be held on November 14.
The national competition, aimed at learners in grades four to seven, promotes mathematics, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving while encouraging learners to approach mathematical challenges from different angles.

Principal Makhosazana Mahlangu commended the learners for their hard work and dedication. She also wished them luck as they proceed to the second and final round.
In addition, Grade Seven learner Minenhle Masina brought home a certificate and trophy after winning the district-level IsiZulu Comprehension and Quiz at Pinegrove Primary School. Mahlangu congratulated the youngster, who has earned several accolades in IsiZulu competitions.
“I’m happy and proud of all the learners for flying the Langaville Primary School flag high and making us proud,” she said.
