KwaThema – Residents in KwaThema are encouraged to participate in the Easter Weekend Sports Festival at KwaThema Sports Complex.
The event will see all sporting codes displayed at the complex.

“We identified through the years that many sporting codes, such as tennis, are slowly dying, but through this sports festival, we are hoping to revive them.
“KwaThema used to be one of the communities that were very active in sports. We are trying to get back to that culture.
“Through the games, we are also trying to keep young people off the streets and active to avoid taking part in criminal activities.
“On 19 to 20 April, we will be conducting sports clinics in all sporting codes and karate teams will also be demonstrating their skills,” he explains.
Mayoyo says they are encouraging residents to attend the games.
