Tuck shop owner killed outside his shop

“We are pleading with anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward."

KwaThema – Foreign national tuck shop owner (25) was shot and killed outside his store by unknown men on Tuesday evening.

The victim was rushed to Pholosong Hospital where he died from a bullet wound on his right side of the ribcage, which pierced to the left.

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous for his safety, says he was on his way to the tuck shop when he heard a gunshot, but did not see the suspects.

KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says the witness explained that on arrival at the tuck shop he saw the deceased lying on the floor.

“He immediately called for help and alerted the police.

“No one has been arrested thus far and the police are investigating a case of murder.

“We are pleading with anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward,” she says.
