Special votes continue in Kwatsaduza

“I couldn’t vote today because I never received the responding SMS after I had completed my online registration. However, I will be the first person in line to vote tomorrow morning and would like to encourage everyone to come out and cast their vote,” says Mondlane.

Kwatsaduza – Special voting continued in Kwatsaduza area on Tuesday.

The voting at various stations went smoothly.

Ward 111 ClrTshepiso Petros Mondlane could not vote as his details could not be found on the list of special voters.

“I couldn’t vote today because I never received the responding SMS after I had completed my online registration. However, I will be the first person in line to vote tomorrow morning and would like to encourage everyone to come out and cast their vote,” says Mondlane.

Clr Mondlane was not the only one to be disappointed.

A couple of other people were turned away as their details were not on the list.

Ward 80 Clr Johannes Wilson Busakwe managed to vote at Ebenezer Pre School and Day Care Centre in KwaThema.

“The community must come out in their numbers to vote for their democratic rights and a better life and to advance the struggle.”

At Masimini Primary School, voter Moses Nkabinde (82) says: “I am voting today to ensure my grandchildren’s future is secure. Voting is my right and if you don’t vote, there’s no future.”
