KwaThema – The KwaThema Fashion Week Season 11 Autumn and Winter collection is set to take place on May 25 at KwaThema Hall.
The KwaThema fashion week is an innovative and socially woke movement that aims to bring social empowerment and uplifting through, creating various employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The show’s founder, Stevens Monoki, has initiated an impressive solution, combining empowerment, employment and entrepreneurship as themes.
“I will be giving 30 stalls to local businesses to exhibit their work and to generate money into the Kwatsaduza businesses with every fashion show we host.”
The show promises to be diverse and inclusive.
“We have plus size models as well as models living with a disability on the line up for the show,” says Monoki.

The Season 11 fashion showcase will see local designers collaborating with international designers.
The show will be sponsored by Markham and Hairnova, among others.
The launch of autumn and winter fashion will provide endless entertainment. The locals are invited to join in the fun.
The entrance fee range between R70 and R100. Food and drinks will be sold.
“The show is all about inspiring and empowering of a black child, and that the sun does shine on everyone,” says Monoki.

The fashion show offers an opportunity for designers to showcase their wares, and an appreciation of what the phrase “Fashion is Art” means.
