“The aim was to promote healthy living among each other and offer supportive structure for men.
“More often men are overlooked when it comes to issues of emotional health, mental health and physical health,” says Mhlandla.
The event had numerous activities for participants to engage in and various demonstrations at the venue.
They had a fun walk of 5km around Selpark, did some aerobics and there was a soccer match afterwards where Ayoba FC took on the Gauteng head office squad.
The results ended with Ayoba winning 4-0.
Innocent Mayoyo, KwaThema Sports Confederation president, says: “We want to develop the young ones, lead by example, encourage people to train and live a healthy lifestyle and create a platform to engage with the youth of Kwatsaduza,” says Mayoyo.
