Taking caucus to the people of Tsakane
There are three service delivery projects underway in Ward 84, which include the construction of Jack Strouken and Xhaba streets and the construction of sidewalks.
Tsakane – The ANC Ekurhuleni Caucus delivered a service delivery report to approximately 300 community members of Extension 10 in Ward 84 in Tsakane on Tuesday.
Attendees at the meeting included ANC provincial executive member Ntombi Mekgwe. The ANC ward councillor by-elections candidate, Philisile Masina, was introduced to the public.
If she’s voted into office, Masina will fill a vacant post left by the late ward councillor Bongi Sibanyoni, who died in January after a short illness.
Addressing the members of the public, ANC caucus exco member Clr Mbulaheni Makhadi pleaded with the community to work harmoniously with the candidate elected once she takes office.

“We are aware that there are many challenges that face this side of our community.
“We’ve been on the ground, talking to some of you and you spoke very clearly to us.
“You said we must work with speed in addressing challenges of housing, electricity, re-blocking and unemployment.
“As we introduce this ward councillor candidate to the community of Ward 84, we can assure you that these challenges will be addressed.
“The ANC’s plans are very clear as we are determined and committed to improving the lives of all citizens,” he said.
