Man arrested for dealing in drugs in Duduza
He added that the police will not give up the fight against drugs and are urging the community to keep reporting any form of drug use.
Duduza – A 19-year-old man has been arrested for the possession of drugs and dealing in drugs on Tuesday by the EMPD drug unit, which was patrolling the Duduza area.
The arrest was part of an ongoing surveillance operation by the Duduza police and metro police.

Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka says the suspect was cornered while he was selling one of his customers nyaope on Nala Street and he had no chance to escape.
“He was found in possession of 33 tiny bags of dagga, 27 bags of nyaope and four pieces of Mandrax.

“It seemed he was a one-stop shop for illegal drugs and contributed to the destruction of the youth in the area,” says Manaka.
He adds that the police will not give up the fight against drugs and are urging the community to keep reporting any form of drug use.
“The suspect will appear in the Nigel Magistrate’s Court soon,” he says.
