Local artist set to drop new music
“This month I am dropping my new single titled Music is a Feeling and will be hosting an exhibition of music and photography in July in my hometown of Tsakane,” says MJ.
Tsakane – Mojalefa James Mofokeng, best known as MJ, was born and bred in Tsakane. He is slowing climbing up the ladder of becoming a major superstar.
The young talented vocalist and guitarist keeps proving that hard work pays off, and that no dream is unattainable.
“This month I am dropping my new single titled Music is a Feeling and will be hosting an exhibition of music and photography in July in my hometown of Tsakane,” says MJ.

He will be hosting a music and conceptual photography exhibition on July 13 at 4321 Ngcobo Street in Tsakane at the Wolf and Co Café.
Entrance fee is R50.
MJ says with this event, he is touching base with his hometown fans, and to remind himself of his humble beginnings.
“For this exhibition I have enlisted Siya Nhleko, a photographer from Tsakane. We have been working together for a while and have decided to take the exhibition back home to reintroduce ourselves. ”
He started his career back in 2004, and for two years was part of the music band called the Technical Image.
He has gained exposure through social media and local media, and has been featured in various events in the East Rand and West Rand.

He has performed at Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Moshito Conference for live music, ETV Sunrise, Shikisha New Town, Nikis Oasis, Crammers coffee shop and Africa Freedom Station, just to name a few.
In a short period of time, MJ has created a fan base. He knows how to fuse music with conceptual photography.
