Take note of planned power outages

KwaThema – The metro has planned power outages in KwaThema on June 25 from 8am to 8pm due to maintenance.
In a statement released by the metro, the power interruption is due to the upgrading of the 11Kv Switchgear panels at the KwaThema main substation.

The affected areas include Masmini, KwaThema, Extension Two, Ext Three and Ext Six, White City, Vergenoeg, Gugulethu and Mthembu Village, Mini-Selcourt, Interland, Rest in Peace, Barcelona.
Residents are warned to avoid handling wires as they may remain live at all times.
