Local performer invited to international showcase

The ARTS International is a platform created for aspiring singers, actors, models and dancers from all over the world.

Kwatsaduza – Mosa Mogoera (17), a singer and aspiring actor, has been nominated to participate in the Applause Rising Talent Showcase (ARTS) hosted by International ARTS.

The showcase will run from July 2 to 7 at the Orlando World Centre Marriott in Orlando, Florida, USA.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I am still processing the events. I am extremely excited and nervous at the same time, but I am willing to make the most of it,” says Mosa.

The ARTS International is a platform created for aspiring singers, actors, models and dancers from all over the world to showcase their talents and pave the way to the entertainment industry. Entertainers perform in front of experienced agents, managers and casting directors from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami, as well as from other countries.

“I will be leaving the country on July 30 for New York City.

“On July 2, we will be having a workshop with the New York Film Academy in preparation for the showcase.”

Mosa says growing up he was a very shy child but always found comfort in music.

He started performing in Grade Six and has been in various talent shows and showcases.

“In 2018, I showcased my talent at the Mzansi Arts talent showcase with director Weza.

“Shortly thereafter I was contacted by the agency that I am now signed to, Just You Model and Artist Management.”

After he auditioned for the ARTS, he was called by its co-owner, Kim Meyers, and invited to come perform.
