Youth gives back to community by educating others
This one-day camp programme aims to give high school learners early exposure to more advanced and basic accounting and its application in various elements, through an informal and fun learning environment.
Tsakane – The Projeano Tutors invite the learners of Katsaduza to apply for Accounting Ekasi Bootcamp 01 to be held on October 26.

The camp is led by Nkhensani Maluleke (24), who studied BCom Financial Science at the University of Pretoria, and two other ambassadors who are studying accounting-related courses at university.
“I used to learn with individuals who perceived accounting as difficult and truly believed that passing was impossible.
“Fortunately, with the help of my mentor, I managed to pass accounting with a distinction in matric,” says Maluleke.
He is tutoring Grade 10 learners at the Tsakane Secondary School in Extension Eight.
He says he approached management at the school after he heard that they wanted to remove accounting from their syllabus due to high failure rates.
“I tutor 24 learners at Tsakane Secondary every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 4.15 pm. Overall we tutor 54 learners under the Projeano Tutors,” explains Maluleke.
