Isuzu bakkie stolen in Duduza recovered badly stripped in an open veld in Tsakane

Duduza – A Duduza resident and owner of a Nissan Isuzu bakkie realised on the morning of July 19 at around 6am that his vehicle had disappeared and presumed it to have been stolen between 2am and 3am that morning.

The owner alerted the vehicle tracking company which then informed the EMPD Equestrian Unit members who managed to recover the vehicle in an open veld in Tsakane.

The vehicle was recovered at around 8am with both its interior and exterior badly stripped of parts.

No arrests were made as the vehicle was found abandoned.

The recovered Isuzu was taken to SAPS Van Ryn pound in Benoni for further investigations and for safekeeping.
