Man arrested for house-breaking

KwaThema – A 29-year-old man was arrested in possession of suspected stolen goods on Monday morning.

This was after a complainant lodged a complaint about his home being burgled on Sunday.

KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says the complainant alleged he woke up and noticed his dining room door was forced open, with the TV, cutlery and groceries worth R2 890 missing in his home, in Extension Three.

“The swift reaction from the tip-off they received led to the arrest of the suspect who was found in possession of the stolen goods in his place of residence.”

The suspect will soon appear before the Springs Magistrate’s Court soon.
