Langaville man shot and killed in front of his home

Tsakane – A 35-year-old man was found shot and killed in Langaville Extension Eight, Tsakane, on Saturday.

It is alleged the deceased was attacked by unknown men outside his home.

Tsakane police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mongomezulu says on arrival at the scene, the police found the deceased with a gunshot wound to the head and was declared dead by the paramedics.

It is alleged after the men shot the deceased they forced entry into his shack, where his girlfriend was, and demanded money at gunpoint.

“When she told them she didn’t have any, they decided to take some of the deceased’s belongings, which, among others include a Plasma TV and cellphones.

“The suspects fled the scene and no one saw whether they were on foot or in a vehicle,” she explains.

Mngomezulu says the police are appealing to the community to come forward if anyone might help them with the investigation.
