Church women brighten up learners’ day in class
“We don’t want the young girls to go through their monthly cycle stressed because they don’t have the means to protect themselves".
Kwatsaduza – The Women’s Fellowship from Dutch Reformed Church donated sanitary towels to learners from five schools in the area last Thursday.
This was to commemorate Women’s Month.
Project coordinator Carol Mabena says they identified a need to have a sanitary pads drive for the learners as part of their contribution to the Women’s Month calendar events.
