Miss Earth SA finalist helps to plant trees

Tree planting encouraged on Arbor Week

Mbali Sithole, Miss Earth South Africa 2019 finalist, celebrated Arbor Week with learners from Shadrack Mbambo Primary School.

The Tree Drive was initiated to shine a light on the importance of trees and their maintenance in the community.

Mbali Sithole is a finalist in the Miss Earth South Africa competition for 2019.

“The main purpose of this Tree Drive was to educate learners about the importance of going green.

“Not only teaching them, but also by going green with them though planting trees,” she explains.

Teaming up with learners, Mbali was able to plant 10 trees on the school grounds.
