Local church choir needs your financial backing

The choir won the local annual JADCCMA choir’s festival/competitions, which were held at KwaThema Community Hall two weeks ago.

KwaThema – Local Organising Committee (LOC), constituted by members of the Kristo Inkosi Catholic Church Choir from KwaThema, need your help to attend the second leg of the Johannesburg Archdiocesan Catholic Choirs Music Association (JADCCMA) competition in Polokwane.

The choir won the local annual JADCCMA choir’s festival/competitions, which were held at KwaThema Community Hall two weeks ago.

Chairperson Kagiso Mogaswane says all the choirs that participated in the event were well prepared with the prescribed music.

“The participating choirs that obtain position one and two in all the categories will be representing the Archdiocese in the National and International Interdiocese Catholic Choirs Music Competitions to be hosted by the Polokwane Archdiocese in Bolivia Lodge from November 29 to Decemeber 1.

“Kristo Inkosi Catholic Church choir, which was the only Kwatsaduza choir participating in the prescribed categories, won in all five sections, which included male, female, hymn, African and western songs.

“The choir is appealing to all local business people to sponsor them for their accommodation and transport to Polokwane, where the second leg of the competition will be held,” he adds.
