Duduza – A 26-year-old man from Masechaba Section has been arrested for murder of his 28-year-old girlfriend on Wednesday morning.
The suspect has been on the run from the police since he allegedly committed the crime.
On Wednesday they received a tip-off that he was hiding in Zamani Section.

Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka says the police are investigating a case of murder.
“The suspect will appear in the Nigel Magistrate’s Court soon.
“Police arrived on the scene and the victim was already declared dead by the paramedics.

“She was found lying on her left side beside the bed in the bedroom.
“There were blood stains in the bedroom and a broken hockey stick under the bed, which is suspected to be the weapon used to commit the crime,” he says.
