Tsakane – The body of a 13-year-old girl was found in an open veld in Extension 14 on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as the girl who was reported missing by her family the previous day at Tsakane Police Station.
Tsakane police spokesperson, Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, says a search was conducted by the police at all the possible places where the family suspected that she might have been, but they were unsuccessful.

“On Saturday morning police received a call from the community about the body found in the open veld. They then discovered it was the body of the missing girl.
“The investigation for the murder is still underway and we are calling on anyone who might have information that might lead to the arrest of the suspect/s to come forward,” she adds.
