Duduza – The Duduza police recovered a vehicle minutes after the owner was hijacked on Monday.
The recovery came after a group of about five men had invaded a house in Nonjekwa Street, robbing the occupants of the house of their cellphones, cash and clothing.

Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka says the suspects loaded all the robbed items into a Toyota Quantum mini bus belonging to the owner of the house.
“The owner bravely jumped out of the moving vehicle and went on to alert the police.
“Duduza police reacted to the call and chased the suspects and called for a lookout notice within minutes.

“The suspects had no choice but to abandon the vehicle with the property still inside,” he explains.
Manaka adds that no one has been arrested, and police investigations are still underway.
