Tsakane – A 35-year-old mechanic was shot and killed by unknown men in his home in Langaville on Thursday evening.
The man was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.

Tsakane police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu says it is alleged by the girlfriend of the deceased that two unknown men knocked on their door, calling for the deceased. He opened the door thinking the callers were some of his clients.
“The two men forced themselves into the house, started shooting the deceased and fled the scene on foot without saying anything or taking anything.

“Police are investigating a case of murder and no one has been arrested.
“ We are appealing to the community to come forward with the information that might help with the investigation,” she adds.
