Kwa-Thema – The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested four men for possession of and possible dealing in illicit substances on Thursday. The arrests were made between 2pm and 5pm, and the quartet was found in possession of heroin, khat, crystal meth and dagga.

Two men, aged 24 and 32, were the first to be nabbed. They were arrested in Lepelle Street after officers uncovered six ziplock bags of heroin and 13 ziplock bags and 18 paper-wrapped packets of dagga valued at R2 000.

- The other men, aged 33 and 37, were caught along Khumbuza Street after they were found in possession of four ziplock bags of khat and seven ziplock bags of crystal meth valued at R2 900.
