Duduza – Local police arrested two men and recovered valuables which were stolen during a housebreaking in Bluegumview.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said after a case of housebreaking was opened, Duduza SAPS followed up on information and discovered the burglars may have known the owner of the house would be away at the time of the incident.

Information led Det Sgt Veron Mofokeng and his team to a shop in Springs where the perpetrators had sold the stolen goods.
“The person who sold the items, two TV sets, an amp and a mixer, was arrested together with his accomplice. It was also discovered that one of the suspects is a nephew to the owner of the property.
“The suspects are expected to appear in the Nigel Magistrate’s Court during the course of the week,” he said.
