Tsakani – Two men were arrested on Monday afternoon after they were found in possession of various drugs.
The arrests were made during an anti-drugs operation conducted by the EMPD’s K9 and Drug Enforcement units.
Patrolling officers stopped two suspicious-looking men along Shakwane Street.

They were found in possession of dagga, nyaope and rocks (crack cocaine) valued at R1 400, as well as R100 in cash.
The duo was escorted to the Tsakani Police Station.
They face charges of possession of and possible dealing in illicit substances and are expected to appear in the Tsakani Magistrate’s Court soon.
