Man killed after a night of fun

A witness, who was identified as the victim’s brother, said they were visiting his other brother in Tsakani Extension Five when they decided to go to a bar.

Kwa-Thema – The body of a 32-year-old man was found along Mashiqhila Street during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
According to Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, officers from Kwa-Thema SAPS responded to a complaint about a fight just after 1am.
When they arrived on the scene, they found a group of men, and the victim lying on the ground.
A witness, who was identified as the victim’s brother, said they were visiting his other brother in Tsakani Extension Five when they decided to go to a bar.
They were about to leave the bar when a fight ensued at the gate.

It is alleged that a red vehicle stopped at the gate and the victim was forced inside the car.
The witness claimed not to know what happened to the victim after he got into the car. The witness later found the victim lying on the ground covered in blood.
They then phoned for an ambulance.
Paramedics declared the man dead on the scene.
The deceased had sustained a wound to the back of his head.
