Three shots rang out and the victim sustained wounds to his right shoulder and left thigh.

Kwa-Thema- A young man was shot while walking from a pub on Tuesday morning.
According to Const Nkululeko Magudulela, communications officer at the Kwa-Thema Police Station, the victim and his friend were walking along Mokgatle Street at around 2am when the victim stopped to urinate.
His friend continued on his journey and was met by an unknown man, who threatened him with a firearm.

The man fired a shot in their direction. The victim then pounced on the gunman to apprehend him.

His friend managed to climb on the roof of a house along the street and screamed for help.
