Three arrested for hijacking in Tsakani

The victim was reportedly robbed of his vehicle while parked outside waiting for his children to come out of the house.

Tsakani – Three men were recently arrested in connection with a case of hijacking that took place along Ntlangwini Street in Extension Eight, Tsakani, on September 30.
The victim was reportedly robbed of his vehicle while parked outside waiting for his children to come out of the house.

Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said the victim alleged the perpetrators held him at gunpoint and ordered him into the back of the vehicle, and then drove off.
He also told police he was robbed of everything in his possession on the day.
Lt Col Oliven Letloenyane welcomed the success and good work conducted by Const Noks Motabeni and believes the three suspects might be linked to other hijackings reported during the past quarter in the Tsakani area.
