Tsakani – A man was shot dead in his yard and his car was stolen on Cornwell Street on Tuesday.
It is believed the victim was parking his vehicle, a silver-grey Toyota Hilux bakkie, when the sound of gunshots rang out.
According to Const Nkululeko Magudulela, corporate communications officer at Kwa-Thema Police Station, the victim was rushed to Pholosong Hospital, where he died.

“He sustained four gunshot wounds: two to the chest, one to the chin and one to the head.
“Five cartridges were found in the yard,” explained Magudulela.
No arrests have yet been made and the vehicle has not been recovered.
