Kwa-Thema – A 37-year-old woman was raped allegedly by her former lover at her home in Masimini Section on Sunday.
The victim said she was outside her yard with her neighbour when her former lover demanded to know why she was in the company of other men.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said when she tried to explain herself to him he started assaulting her.

It is alleged on Sunday the man returned to her home drunk, demanding she open the door for him.
“He was armed with a knife and assaulted and strangled the victim in front of her children before raping her,” he said.
Manaka said the man has not yet been arrested and police investigations are still underway.
