Warm nights for centre beneficiaries
On July 1, the organisation visited its adopted charity centre to donate 30 blankets.

Springs plant manager Pumeza Nkala said that contributions would assist the centre with combating the cold weather and the shortage of blankets.

“As a diverse family, we share similar authentic values that prioritise the importance of family needs. Our biggest concern was how we could ensure that our beneficiaries were well provided for during these frosty and chilly nights,” said Nkala.
“We then decided among ourselves for each employee to buy a blanket for one child. Through motivation and encouragement, we each contributed to this great cause. By doing so, we were able to reach our target,” she said.
Kholeka Mthembu, the centre manager, expressed her gratitude as she explained that the donation covers one of the centre’s imperative needs.
“We will be able to provide our beneficiaries with new blankets, replacing the old ones we have. The organisation’s efforts are of tremendous help to the centre,” she said.
