NPO offers support to learners
Project director Clement Khumalo said learners have lost learning time by almost a full term due to Covid-19.
Kwatsaduza – The Clenozat Generic Skills Development NPO is conducting inclusive extra classes in the foundation and intermediate phases.
Learners with disabilities are urged to make use of the programme.
The initiative aims to provide support to learners while schools are closed.
However, strict Covid-19 regulations will be adhered to and a schedule will be followed to avoid gatherings.

Project director Clement Khumalo said learners have lost learning time by almost a full term due to Covid-19.
“The pandemic has exacerbated previously existing inequalities and those children who were already most at risk of being excluded from quality education have been the most affected.
“Through the programme, we aim to provide essential support, protection and dispersing crucial information,” he said.

Classes are taking place at 1229 Sikelela Street, Bluegum View, from 15:00 to 17:30 on Mondays to Wednesdays.
The organisation is urging parents who are interested to enrol their children in maths and English classes for a second intake that will commence on July 19 to December.
