DJ makes a difference in his community

Kwa-Thema – Local radio DJ at EK FM, Kutloano Mpitso, is the change he wants to see in his community.
The youngster is the founder of Kotloano Mpitsi Foundation. He has taken it upon himself to help feed the less fortunate in his community.
He collects non-perishable food, clothes and school uniforms.

Last year during hard lockdown, he decided to use his prominence to help the less fortunate.
Kutloano said his love to help the community was born when he was invited to join Humphrey Sibande, aka DJ Virus, on a mentorship programme on his breakfast show on Saturdays.
“I was exposed to a lot of people who needed help and this motivated me to lend a helping hand. So far we have households that we have adopted,” he said.
He said he is hoping to attract more sponsors to help him make a difference in his community.
“I believe if we all work together, we will be able to make a bigger difference,” he added.
