Resident honours business people on her birthday

Kwa-Thema – As part of her birthday celebration, Refiloe Mcina honoured business people who are always ready to lend a helping hand in the form of donations when the community is in need.

She handed out certificates of appreciation to a local butchery, pharmacies and surgeries.

“Not many businesses in the area are open to helping the people in the communities they serve.

“I am encouraging other residents to walk in my footsteps and help protect their businesses from being looted and vandalised.

“We will only be able to build a better tomorrow for the community of Kwa-Thema through working together,” she said.
