NPO uplifts the community through charity work

Kwatsaduza – Tsakani-based NPC Mawayimbe Projects is setting a footprint within the community by assisting those in need.
The organisation, situated at 1152 Madonsela Street, was founded by Jabulani Mawayimbe Nyoni, who is the NPC’s director and coordinator, with Mandla Mashinini and Morwa Raphaka.
It was established in July 2018.
They collect and donate clothing items (new and used) and run a soup kitchen twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 12:00.

“We cater for the needy. Our targeted groups are pensioners, children, drug addicts and anyone who needs help.
“We do spiritual upliftment, as well as daily sharing of the Word of God with people through our social media channels.
“Motivational seminars are held every Sunday from 11:30 to 13:00.
“We work a lot with children,” he explained.
They also work with early childhood development centres.
Nyoni said their biggest challenge is a lack of funding.
“I believe our work is crucial within the community as we are the link to other social responsibility organisations and those who need assistance.
“We pride ourselves on love, living to sharing and caring for others.
“Our colours are red (blood of Jesus Christ ) and white (purity/light) and our motto is Giving Back to Community. Our strength is empowered by John 3:16,” he stated.

He is pleading with local businesses and organisations to assist with funds, training workshops for their beneficiaries and team members, partnerships, food, toys, books, Bibles and mentorship.
