Kwatsaduza – Ninety people were arrested for various crimes over the long weekend in the areas policed by Ekurhuleni East District Zone 3 stations, which include Springs, Nigel, Dunnottar, Duduza, Tsakani, Devon and Kwa-Thema.

The charges range from assault common/GBH, dealing in liquor without a licence, armed robbery, interfering with police duties, drunk driving, theft, malicious damage to property, house break-in and theft, and rape.
More than 30 people were arrested for contravention of the Disaster Management Act.
All suspects were charged and are expected to appear before the courts in their respective areas from Tuesday.
