Burial club is full of the spirit of giving
Chairperson Andy Mpye said women are regarded as nation builders and play many different roles in society regardless of their status.
Duduza – The Sonqoba Simunye Men’s Burial Club commemorated Women’s Day by distributing 100 vegetable hampers.
Chairperson Andy Mpye said women are regarded as nation builders and play many different roles in society regardless of their status.
“Therefore, a society which supports its women is responsible.
“Although efforts have been made to promote and protect woman’s rights when it comes to poverty alleviation there’s still work which needs to be done.

“We need to establish efficient programmes, which will address skills development and the empowerment of women.
“Black women in our society continue to face inequality, domestic abuse and poverty and unemployment gender discrimination,” he explained.
He said as a club, they believe women empowerment is pivotal to social development and a positive contribution to the economy and education.
