Help police find suspect

Tsakani – A man accused of raping a young woman is now being sought by police for kidnapping his alleged victim and threatening her to drop the charges.
The man and an accomplice is alleged to have abducted and threatened the victim (18) at gunpoint at around 15:00 on August 3.
His accomplice is also being sought by police.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said it is alleged the victim was on her way to school for extra classes when the occupants of a white Toyota Tazz with an unknown registration number stopped next to her.

“There were two occupants in the vehicle. They got out, forced her inside and drove off with her.
“They allegedly stopped in an open veld along the R550 road, where they threatened her at gunpoint and instructed her to drop the charges of rape she opened.
“They later drove back with her and dropped her in Extension 19, Tsakani,” she explained.
Police are calling upon anyone who might know the whereabouts of the rape suspect to come forward.
The suspect is light in complexion, tall and well-built with brown eyes. He speaks isiZulu and is described as soft spoken.
