Tsakani – An operation carried out by the local police over the weekend saw the arrest of 27 suspects for various crimes.

The operation focused on drugs, car hijackings, liquor outlet compliance and other crimes.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said 27 suspects were arrested for different offences, including 18 for drunk driving.

The Tsakani SAPS station commander assured the community that these operations will be continuously held in order to make Tsakani safe.
