“That’s when I realised that one day I’d love to have my book.
“My late father also played a role in me wanting to be an author, as he was a poet,” she explained.
She said the book is about motivating one another, reclaiming our lives by learning self-control techniques and shutting out the noise.
With her book, she aims to reach ‘more souls’ as she is also a motivational speaker.
Sibiya said the process in creating this book started by coming up with a title.

“I felt I needed to write a book to make it easy for me to reach more people who need encouragement and those who might have lost hope.
“The purpose is to bring hope to my readers and emphasise that anything is possible but only if we set our minds to it.
“People should read my book so they can learn how to live a peaceful life embedded in the principles. It’ll also help them to achieve their goals, but mostly on how to appreciate themselves,” said Sibiya.
The book was launched on September 28.
Her goal is to pass matric and release her second book on her birthday next year February.
