Meet mayoral candidate Thlogi Moseki

Thlogi Moseki is the ActionSA Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate having undergone a gruelling selection process, including the participation of ordinary members of society to contribute to the choosing of their leader.
Moseki is a former employee in the City of Ekurhuleni marketing and branding department, as well as media liaison, for many years until he resigned 10 years ago to focus on personal business interests.
He is a young passionate man and a former radio voice-over artist on various radio platforms, including the public broadcaster Motsweding FM.
He recently worked as a business developer for e-hailing company Taxify until he joined ActionSA as an activist.
Moseki is concerned about the state of decay that has plagued the City, considering Ekurhuleni is the biggest economic hub in the province and GDP contributor as well to the province.
As a highly skilled young man in administration, he feels poor leadership under the current administration has brought this beautiful City to its knees.
He attributes the above factors to poor administration, cadre deployment, corruption and lack of accountability.
He is cautious to over-commit on his turnaround strategy, but having worked for the City will put him in a good state to address fundamental issues on the ground. He said basic amenities, such as water and electricity, are not a privilege but a right; therefore, these are some of the commodities that need to be focused on.
