Ward 85 councillor Moses Sipho Sibiya is serving as ANC zonal coordinator, whip of sports, recreation, arts and culture and is the board member of Germiston Municipal Retirement Fund. The role he’s played in the development of the community is as follows:
• Assisted 565 learners to obtain accredited Occupational Health and Safety certificate.
• Assisted 87 residents who have form C to be allocated at Tsakani Extensions 22 and 97 approved beneficiaries.
• Assisted in construction of five streets in Tsakani Ext 12.
• Assisted in construction of stormwater in Modjadji Street.
• Donated over 800 school bags in partnership with Roots Butchery.
• Working with private sector Prasa Gibela, assisted in constructing fencing at Matshediso Special School.
• Assisted in installation of street lights in Malandela Street, Tsakani Road, Modjadji Street.
• Assisted in construction of side walks in Puseletso Street, Malandela Street and Tsakani Road.
• Assisted in installation of more than 1 000 water meters through war on leaks programme.
His plan to continue the work of the ANC and development of community is as follows:
• To assist more than 200 approved housing beneficiaries in Ext 22.
• To complete the construction of streets in Tsakani Ext 12.
• To ensure the construction of stormwater in Ext Five.
• To intervene on the constant electricity outages in Ext Five A.
• To assist 700 youth with different types of accredited certificates.
• To assist in formalising at least 200 small businesses.
