Geluksdal residents cast their votes

Geluksdal – Residents in Ward 82 took to their community hall voting station to make their mark in the local elections on Monday.
Lydia Paulsen (46) said she was voting for a better future.
“With everything that’s going on, it is important for us to vote. Our votes can make a difference.
“There’s still plenty of work that needs to be done to protect our democracy and our future,” she said.
Monica Johaar’s (76) wish is to see the country united.

“I want all of us to live happily together and on the same level.
“No one should think their rights are more important than the next person’s.
“Stand united as a country,” explained Johaar.
Another voter, Rose Ngcwabe, said voting is the right thing to do.
