Kwa-Thema – Simphiwe Nkosi (36) was shot and killed outside his home on Tuesday night.
It is alleged two men knocked on his door and asked to speak to him outside.
Moments later, the family heard gunshots. When they went to investigate, they found him lying in a pool of his own blood.
He was shot in the head and upper body and was certified dead on scene.
Simphiwe’s distraught girlfriend, Lerato Sibande, said she doesn’t know what might have happened, as Nkosi was very private.

“For a year now he was operating as a money lender, and his business was growing.
“We don’t know whether they killed him due to business or personal reasons,” she added.
Sgt Sibongile Ndlele confirmed they are investigating a case of murder and that the perpetrators are still on the run.
“Police investigations are underway. We are calling on anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspects to inform the local police or call 0800 10111,” she added.
