School uniforms donated to learners in need

“We were happy when we received positive feedback and were able to make the learners' journey to school more bearable.”

Kwa-Thema – Ward 74 councillor Thulani Simelane donated school uniforms to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds on Friday.
The beneficiaries include learners from Theo Twala Primary School, Kwa-Thema Skills School and Lefa-ifa Secondary School.
Simelane explained the success of the campaign was made possible by the donation from a local security company.

“We received requests from the school leaders that there were needy learners. We then decided to submit applications for help from some of the local business people.
“We were happy when we received positive feedback and were able to make the learners’ journey to school more bearable,” he said.
Simelane urged local business people to help, where they can, those in need.
