Waste management service providers called to apply for accreditation permits

No person may provide a commercial service without a valid accreditation permit issued by the municipality.

The City of Ekurhuleni is calling on all waste management service providers and generators to register with the Waste Management Services Department to acquire accreditation permits in terms of the new Integrated Waste Management By-laws 2021.
According to the requirement stipulated in the by-laws, “no person may provide a commercial service without a valid accreditation permit issued by the municipality and where applicable, without a relevant license issued by the national or provincial authorities”.

To apply, interested parties can collect application forms from Boksburg Customer Care Centre, waste management division at office number 509 and 532, fifth floor between 09:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday.
Application forms can also be downloaded from the City of Ekurhuleni website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za or can be requested via email:
