Donated fence erected at local church

The 190m² is worth R140 000.

Kwa-Thema – Home Fellowship Church in Mzumbe Section, Reedville, recently received a new security fence.
This was after the church leaders requested assistance from councillor Thulani Simelane.
The 190m² is worth R140 000.
Simelane said the church premises are used as a community hall, accommodating funeral services, community meetings and other gatherings.

“We saw the need to help safeguard the premises as another way of giving back to the community.
“We approached a local construction company for the donation, and we were happy when they responded positively,” he said.
Simelane urged residents to protect the facility and ensure it is not vandalised.
Past Njabulo Khumalo from the church said he is grateful for the donation.
“It is fulfilling that the local leaders kept their promise to assist us with a security fence that we could not afford,” he said.
