Emergency services join forces with police to improve services

Duduza – Ekurhuleni police and Gauteng Emergency Services on Tuesday renewed their partnership in working together to give improved services to residents.
The partnership comes after residents, especially those in the townships and informal settlements, were concerned that ambulance services and police are not reaching them on time.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said they saw it fit to embark on a service delivery drive to reach out to the affected communities.

Pholosong Hospital, Nokuthela Ngwenya Clinic, Daggafontein and Bertha Gxowa hospitals submitted their commitment to servicing the communities.
The police from the Ekurhuleni District also pledged their support and commitment to service delivery and indicated the partnership will bring much-needed assistance and prompt delivery response to various types of situations.
“We hope to achieve better service through this partnership and prioritise safety for our people,” he added.
