Taxi robbers strike again

It is alleged that the victims boarded a white Toyota Quantum with five occupants at the corner of Tsoako and Malandela streets.

Tsakani – A 51-year-old woman and her children were robbed of valuables on Saturday.
It is alleged the victims boarded a white Toyota Quantum with five occupants at the corner of Tsoako and Malandela streets.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said the victims were allegedly assaulted by the occupants.

“They then drove them to the outside parking lot at Pholosong Hospital, where they demanded all their belongings and transferred money from the victim’s banking app,” she explained.
Tsakani SAPS urged residents to be alert when they board taxis.
