KUSO to honours fallen members
The event is aimed at honouring fallen members who dedicated their lives to the development and progress of communities in Ekurhuleni and surrounding areas.
Kutlwano Social Organisation (KUSO) is organising a commemoration event in honour of its fallen members who dedicated their lives to the development and progress of communities in Ekurhuleni and surrounding areas.
KUSO, as affectionately known in the community, plays a leading role in integrating community aspirations by working with other organs of civil society and other stakeholders.
The event will see families of fallen members being treated to motivational speakers of high calibre and reflections on the lives of their beloved family members in the mainstream of KUSO’s projects and programmes.
“We as KUSO feel obligated to remember the roles played by our fallen members to make our organisation such a formidable force in the struggles of our people, especially women and children hence we commemorate their lives during the August month,” says KUSO chairman Dali Mofokeng.

“We want the community to remember them as catalysts of change. We hope that men in society will start appreciating the role of KUSO and come in their numbers to join us so that we can work together to improve the lives of our communities,” says Mofokeng.
The event will be graced by high-profile speakers and the keynote address will be delivered by Reverend Mogomotsi Diutlwileng, the minister of the Methodist Church in Edenvale.
Diutlwileng is the author of the book, Creative Passionate Genius, a leadership strategist and a professional speaker.
KUSO’s Joshua Ntuli says that the event will allow them to reflect on the role that their members are playing in the development of communities as they would like to see fathers being role models for the youth in the community.
“We would like to see men taking a stance in the protection of the most vulnerable in society, especially women,” says Ntuli.
The event, held on August 14, will be starting at 12:30 at Kwa-Thema Hall.
